Gorey Celtic 5 - 2 Ferns United
Our under 12's hosted second placed Ferns Utd this Saturday in the league our first game since the 12th of December. The young Celts came of the blocks fastest and should have scored 2 goals in the 1st couple of minutes but it was Ferns who opened the scoring with a well taken goal this got our lads working harder and we got a goal back in no time with a good finish from Conor Brennan.

We started the second half as we finished the first and took the lead through Conor Brennan finishing of a great move . We had our tail feathers up now and controlled the game knocking the ball around like we were playing a lower team rather than a team 6 places above us.
Conor Travers deceided to get in on the act by adding two more goals from midfield to cap a great game. Ferns added to their tally before Gracjan rounded of a brilliant team display with his first goal for the team.
The lads earned this win with all the hard work they have been putting into training.
